67,500 Miles/54 Months
When your LEAF hits 67,500 miles, it's time to repeat the basic procedures again. You'll inspect the following:
- Horn and lights
- Signals, wipers, rear hatch/hood lift supports
- Battery terminals/cables, battery test
- Tire pressure, treadwear, and depth
- Suspension components
If you're also at 54 months, then it's time for another Intelligent Key battery replacement. As always, we'll rotate your tires as well.
Keep Repeating at the Listed Intervals!
As an electric car, the Nissan LEAF is pretty simple when it comes to maintenance. You don't have to worry about all the engine parts or the fuel levels at all. Simply keep up with the listed mileage intervals previously mentioned.
So, every 7,500 miles, you'll have the tires rotated and the same basic procedures done. Every 15,000 miles, you'll be due for a few more services such as the brake pad inspection and microfilter replacement, and so on.
